Sharon and Bruce Bellamy, Glenville: Bruce, a lifelong resident of Schenectady County, has lived within a three-mile radius of his current residence for all but two years of his life. He and Sharon were high school sweethearts who now own and operate Bellamy & Sons Construction Co. They are long-time volunteer firefighters, and Sharon is president of the Scotia Rotary Club

Robin Boyd and Greg Harvey, Rotterdam: Robin is discharge planner and hospital liaison for the Schenectady Child Guidance Center. Greg is a claims examiner for MVP Health Plan. He also runs his own "pet taxi" business. Robin has lived in Schenectady County for 25 years and Greg for eight years. She is a graduate of the former Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady. Robin and her husband, Greg, have three children: Alexandria, 4; Olivia, 3; and Gregory, 18 months.
"Schenectady County was our first choice. We have a big house for our growing family and a yard you can get lost in."
Angela and Frank Calabria, Schenectady: The Calabrias have lived in Schenectady for 34 years. Frank was born in Brooklyn and received degrees from the City College of New York and New York University. He is a retired college professor and psychotherapist. Angela, a native of Ecuador, had a career in art. They both have a passion for ballroom dancing. The Calabrias have four children and seven grandchildren.
"We love our Schenectady home. Even though we are in the city, we have a sense of privacy and quiet that few neighborhoods can match."
Wendy and Mike Glasser, Schenectady: Mike, a Schenectady city police officer, is a lifelong Schenectady resident. He and Wendy purchased the home that Mike grew up in. Mike graduated from the former Linton High School in Schenectady and the State University of New York at Albany. Wendy, producer for the popular Don Weeks Show on radio station WGY 810 AM, is an Orange County native who graduated from Siena College, Loudonville.
"We work and play in Schenectady, so it made sense to live here, too. We were amazed how affordable buying a home can be in Schenectady County. Were very happy we made the move."
